Role Overview:
The Structural Project Manager will lead the design and management of projects across a diverse range of sectors including:

• Commercial
• Entertainment Retail
• Multifamily Residential
• K12 and Higher Education
• Healthcare
• Civic and Government
• Historic Preservation
• Miscellaneous project types

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor team members on structural engineering projects.
• Perform independent engineering design tasks with specific objectives and variables.
• Participate in all project phases including schematic design design development final design working drawings specifications agency approvals and construction services.
• Prepare accurate and complete calculations within project parameters.
• Provide detailed guidance to BIM and CAD Designers.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews on engineering projects.
• Monitor and achieve project schedule and budget goals.
• Collaborate with architects design teams enforcement agencies and other stakeholders.
• Follow established work rules policies and procedures.
• Continuously seek process improvements efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Take on additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Architectural or Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) from an accredited university.
• PE (Civil/Structural) license preferred.
• Experience with building structural engineering in steel concrete masonry wood and light gauge steel.
• Knowledge of RISA and similar engineering software applications.
• Proficiency with the International Building Code and related codes.
• Strong collaboration skills with clients owners contractors and design professionals.
• Excellent communication skills.
