Job Description
ProMedica Toledo Hospital is one of the largest acutecare facilities in the region. Our 794bed hospital is staffed by more than 4800 professional healthcare employees who serve a 27county area throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. POSITION SUMMARY
Provides pharmacy services to include: inpatient drug distribution IV admixture drug information pharmacokinetics drug therapy monitoring patient education and controlled substance regulation. Responsible for providing direct supervision of supportive personnel within the Department of Pharmacy. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient family physician and staff satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on the Mission and Values of ProMedica.
Requirements
- Education:Bachelors degree in Pharmacy
- License:Licensed within the state(s) of practice
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:Pharm.D. degree and residency training
- Skills:Prefer experience in hospital pharmacy services including unit dose IV admixtures and pharmacokinetic dosing.
- Certification:BLS Basic Life Support

- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift light materials. Nonmaterial handling of continuous sitting and reaching; frequent standing; occasional squatting kneeling walking and stairs. Must be able to move about and between workstations.
