THE ROLE:

- Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00

WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Equipment Operator I will assist in all areas of the Concentrate plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production needs with the supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work. The Equipment Operator must be willing and able to assist in operating the plant equipment.
- Responsible for monitoring material flow and instruments to include temperature and pressure gauges indicators and meters
- Setting or adjusting machine controls to regulate conditions such as material flow temperature and pressure
- Measure or weighing materials to be refined mixed transferred stored or otherwise processed
- Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing
- Responsible for the completion of changeovers CIPs cleaning and sanitizing tools/equipment as directed
- Will operate a variety of equipment to include: Centrifuge Separator Evaporator UltraFiltration System Aseptic Filler Clean in Place Equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or one to three months in related filed experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record which will be verified through a background check
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be punctual with an excellent attendance record
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Proactive mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision
- Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months related experience and/or training
- Experience working on a production line in a food/beverage company
- Oneyear experience in a production environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Environmental exposure to wet and humid conditions
- Material exposure moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as fumes airborne particles and vibrations.
- Must be able to lift/pushpull/carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to ascend and descend ramps steps ladders stairs using threepoint contact
- Environment exposure hot/humid conditions 95 or above).
- Exposure to extreme cold temperatures 34 degrees or below)
- Stand for prolonged periods of time; occasionally stoop bend kneel crouch reach and twist
- Capable of repeating repetitive motions
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
- 3rd Shift 10:00pm 6:30am; MF; Overtime and holidays may be mandatory based on business needs
