Job Description
Project Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Contracts Engineer required for a subcontract manufacturer based in Derby Derbyshire.
The Project Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Contracts Engineer will be responsible for leading technical projects and acting as the main point of contact for all quality and technical queries as well as ensuring all projects are completed in the agreed timeframe and within budget.
The Project Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Contracts Engineer will have prior experience as a Project Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Contracts Engineer within the precision engineering industry. Ideally you will have experience as a CNC Machinist / CNC Turner / CNC Miller / CNC Grinder and live within a commutable distance from the main site based in Derby Derbyshire.

Responsibilities:
- Lead on technical projects and act as the main point of contact for all quality and technical queries
- Ensure all projects are completed within the agreed timeframe and within budget
- Develop relationships with clients and accurately record all of their requirements
- Monitor KPIs and performance to ensure targets are met
- Liaise with all departments to ensure project requirements are met
- Frequently review processes and implement new ones when required
- Site based role in Derby Derbyshire
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Project Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Contracts Engineer or similar within a Precision Engineering environment
- Ideally you will have experience as a CNC Machinist / CNC Miller / CNC Turner / CNC Grinder
- Live within a commutable distance to the main site based in Derby Derbyshire
