Job Description
This is a Per Diem position. The hours are every Friday 9a 5p with the possibility of going FT MF
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Menorah Park in Syracuse New York. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating assessing and administering treatment to individuals to develop recover and/or maintain their skills for performing daily activities. This is a fulltime salaried position and the ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and organizational abilities.
Compensation & Benefits

Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients abilities to perform activities of daily living and communicate the results of the evaluation to patients families facility staff Physicians and other appropriate professionals.
Assess patients home and work environments to identify hazards that may prevent the safe and successful performance of daily activities
Develop individualized interventions and treatment programs that improve basic motor sensoryintegrative and postural functions
Provide training and education to patients and their families
Remain current on industry developments attend professional conventions and participate in continuing education classes.
Requirements:
A masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
Previous experience in a Healthcare/Medical setting
A valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy
Excellent communication listening problem solving and organizational skills
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records Systems
