Job Description
We are seeking a detailorientedTechnical Testerto join our team in Pretoria East. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications and systems ensuring quality functionality and compliance with industry standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years of experiencein a technical testing or QA role.
- Fundamentals of Software Testing Certification or similar qualification.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
- 23 years of handson experience with REST APIs and basic SQL.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans for software applications.
- Record and analyze test results comparing them against expected outcomes.
- Identify document and report on software defects and anomalies.
- Maintain a database of software defects for historical analysis.
- Verify code functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Operate and maintain test environments and networks.
- Develop errorhandling procedures for application codes.
- Ensure compliance with programming best practices and industry standards.
