Job Description
Position Title: General Laborer
Position Type: Temporary FullTime
Position Location: McCain Farms

General Laborer McCain Farms
McCain Farms a division of McCain Produce Inc. is looking for Temporary General Laborers in multiple locations in Carleton County NB location to assist with labor and spring planting duties.
These positions are best suited to people who enjoy physical activity a brisk pace early mornings and working outdoors.
DUTIES:
Follow all safety requirements without exception
Material handling of 2550lbs.
Work in inclement weather.
Observing and separating compromised product
Seed Cutting
Daily clean up
Standing in one place for long periods of time
Walking distances daily
Trouble and assist with maintenance of equipment as required.
Relay information to other Team members
Participate in morning Safety meetings
All additional duties as they become assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate safety first on a continual basis.
Must have access to reliable transportation
Ability to work well with supervision and other employees
Team player with excellent attendance
Highly motivated observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
Good verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
Adaptable and able to embrace change as it occurs.
Able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and extended hours
Able to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
High School students aged 16 and above may be considered for outside school hours
Wages Dependent on Experiencestarting at $17.50/hr
