The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and fluid checks to ensure vehicles remain in optimal condition. This role primarily focuses on oil changes fluid inspections and basic maintenance tasks while providing efficient and highquality service.
Perform oil changes fluid level checks and filter replacements to maintain vehicle performance.
Inspect and assess belts hoses and other essential components for signs of wear.
Check and adjust tire pressure gauges and basic system functions.
Identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance before breakdowns occur.
Occasionally drive vehicles for testing and verification purposes.
Ability to diagnose basic vehicle issues quickly and accurately.
Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures.
Willingness to learn new technologies repair techniques and service specifications.
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree and ASE certifications preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds stand for extended periods and perform basic computer tasks for documentation and reporting.
