The Academic Foundations Center Rutgers UniversityNewark (RUN) is seeking parttime instructors (Lecturer/Coadjutant) for Spring 2025 to teach Service Learning I and II. ServiceLearning Internship provides a structured learning experience that combines community work with learning objectives preparation and reflection. Students involved in servicelearning are expected not only to provide direct service to the community but also to learn about the context in which the service is provided address challenges facing the community the connection between the service and their academic coursework and their roles as citizens. The successful candidate will cover the full range of duties associated with teaching including but not limited to preparing course material; creating and posting a course syllabus; presenting material during the assigned course times; holding office hours and providing appropriate outofclass time for students; responding to student emails; conducting and grading assessments of students through assignments exams and other means in a timely manner; and submitting final grades. Course appointments may require instruction during the day in the evenings on weekends offcampus online hybrid remotely or any combination of these
