We are seeking a talented individual to join our MercerRx Pharmacy Practice at Mercer. This role will be based in Minnesota. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Senior Pharmacy Financial Consultant you will serve as a senior resource within AFG focusing on reviewing policy and modeling issues related to pharmacy trends. You will lead consulting engagements with large employers regarding the financial evaluation of pharmacy benefit plans and assist in negotiations with benefits carriers and vendors.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage pharmacy projects and junior staff in program reviews financial assessments implementations plan design analyses and financial projections.
  • Establish effective relationships with carriers and vendors to enhance client benefits procurement and administration.
  • Leverage Mercers size and reputation to negotiate competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors.
  • Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies while effectively communicating industry financial trends to clients and Mercer H&B consultants.

What you need to have:

  • BA/BS degree required; masters degree highly valued.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Financial Consulting is preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in financial analysis consulting.
  • Superior analytical and mathematical skills along with excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Officebased teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $115200 to $230400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a casebycase basis. In addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performancebased incentives.
