About Redwood Materials
Essential Duties:
As the Manager Corporate Cost Accounting you will play a pivotal role in our finance team overseeing the cost accounting function and providing strategic financial guidance to support business decisionmaking. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive cost optimization initiatives ensure accuracy in cost accounting processes and contribute to the financial success of an emerging growth company within a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Lead the cost accounting function overseeing the accurate and timely recording of manufacturing costs inventory valuation and cost allocations in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Conduct indepth analysis of product costs manufacturing variances and cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost reduction process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain standard costing methodologies for products and production processes updating cost standards as needed to reflect changes in material labor and overhead costs.
- Perform regular variance analysis to evaluate actual costs against standard costs investigating and explaining variances to management and operational teams.
- Ensure accurate valuation of inventory including raw materials workinprogress (WIP) and finished goods (FG) applying appropriate cost methods (e.g. FIFO LIFO weighted average) and conducting periodic inventory reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements providing costrelated insights and analysis to support external reporting requirements and audit activities.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts for manufacturing costs providing input on cost assumptions trends and projections.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate cost accounting processes leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency accuracy and data integrity.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls over cost accounting processes ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and facilitating audit readiness.
- Partner with procurement production engineering and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of cost accounting activities with broader business objectives and operational initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting within a large corporate environment preferably within a publicly traded multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles standard costing methodologies and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and cost accounting software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills able to build effective relationships and work crossfunctionally to achieve common goals.

The position is fulltime. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
