Job Description
Saratoga Medical is seeking a Physical Therapist Trainer for the Scarsdale School District in New York.Package includes competitive rate paid time off and benefit options.This is a great fulltime opportunity. Education and Qualifications
- Must have an advanced degree from an accredited college or university
- Be a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer
- Must have fulfilled all requirements of the NATA Board of Certification exam and state licensure or regulation as determined by New York State
- Be a licensed Physical Therapist
- Must have fulfilled all requirements of the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and state licensure or regulation as determined by New York State.
Duties
- Demonstrate an ability to perform functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention assessment treatment as set forth by the NATA National Athletic Trainer Association) Board of Certification
- Advise students/athletes and coaches on the proper use of braces taping and other devices used to prevent injuries
- Determine an individuals readiness to participate in athletics
- Report directly to Athletic Director
- Provide Athletic Trainer coverage for all home athletic contests away football games ice hockey contests championship volleyball wrestling and cheerleading tournaments hosted by Scarsdale
