Job Description

Location: Dept of Medicine Ped GI Practice
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible to provide quality clinical care activities for pediatric patients (birth
to 21 within the scope of practice as defined by the state of Florida and the American Speech Language and Hearing
Association. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team at the hospital and/or outpatient care centers. Demonstrate
competency in evaluation and treatment utilizing valuebased care and evidenced based practices. Receives clinical review
by the Rehab Regional Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
Certification as a SLP by the American SpeechLanguage & Hearing Association (ASHA) within 12 months of
employment
Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of Florida
Excellent command of the English Language
Salary Range: Minimum36.52per hour Maximum58.44per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
