Job Description
- Bachelors Degree inBusiness IT Healthcare or related required; Masters preferred.
- Must have 5 years relatedexperience including experience with security and healthcare systems.
- Must have 3 years of experiencemanaging projects.
- Must have experience indeveloping and integrating business processes.
- Must have prior managementexperience.
- Expert knowledge of theworkflow and operations across the healthcare enterprise.
- Understands the technologycapability as it relates to the business requirements.
- Understanding of changemanagement techniques and the ability to apply them.

General Overview:
Reporting directly to the Partners eCare Clinical Program & Services Project Director the Partners eCare Security Applications Manager is responsible for managing the daytoday activities of the Security team.S/He will monitor Partners eCare compliance with Partners HealthCare Systems Security and Confidentiality policies through collaboration with the Partners eCare Privacy Director Partners Chief Information Security Officer and Partners eCare technical application and clinical teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate securityrelated activities across infrastructure (network servers operating system) and application (Epic or otherwise) teams.
- Apply experience in developing project scope objectives specifications and critical path actions; planning project lifecycle deliverables timetables and resource availability and application; leading the exploration evaluation and design of technical solutions; prepare alternative plans.
- Define processes for establishing ownership of each particular security class updating security classes and coordination of security updates across security class owners.
- Define systemlevel access shared security classes and make appropriate security design decisions in conjunction with application and clinical teams.
- Define and maintain procedures for activating new users updating existing users and inactivating users.
- Facilitate joint security design sessions with the application teams to ensure crossteam communication and collaboration.
- Validate security designs to meet the overall Partners Security and Confidentiality policies.
- Ensures quality and accuracy of team deliverables.
- Act as single point of contact for the security program status; keep the cross teams on task and target.
- Work with the Project Director to define the roles and responsibilities assigned to each team responsible for participating in the implementation (design build test and deployment).
- Identify and manage crossteam dependencies early in the program life cycle.Communicate crossteam issues to the Project Director and the appropriate Managers.
- Supervise work of team members.Delegate work assignments and appropriately prioritize goals for the team.
