Job Description
Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) the incumbent coordinates database design and management and statistical analyses for clinical and health services research studies. The groups mission is to advance public health objectives through multicenter emergency departmentbased research.
Participates in study design data management and statistical analysis for new and ongoing observational and experimental studies. Job duties require applicant to have strong working knowledge of descriptive statistics and multivariable modeling (eg linear logistic ordinal). Experience with advanced statistical methods (e.g. survival analyses generalized estimating equations structural equation modeling) is preferred.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining multiyear datasets and working with physicians on completion of primary and secondary analyses of these datasets and drafting of Methods and Results sections for the resulting manuscripts. In view of these major contributions the incumbent would generally be included as a coauthor of these manuscripts.
Collaborates with PI Coordinating Center staff and site PIs in performance of the above duties.
Assists with grant applications (e.g. power calculations statistical analysis section).
Study design and database management

Excellent communications skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in research publication strongly preferred.
Masters Degree required
Minimum of one year of data analysis experience is strongly preferred. Recent masters graduates with research publications will be considered.
