Job Description
LifeScience Innovations has a fulltime paid internship opportunity in which the individual will participate in a rotational intern experience designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of our core agriculture businesses. The intern will be exposed to different areas within poultry and agriculture through handson learning and projectbased experiences. The intern will rotate through the following key areas: sales and agriculture supply human resources and finance and administration.
LifeScience Innovations is located inWillmar Minnesota on the beautifulMinnWest Technology Campus. LSI is a Shared Service provider in the areas of HR Accounting and IT and supports companies in thein the fields of agriculture engineering processing and poultry genetics.
Key Learning Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Develop a general understanding of the various roles processes and procedures within poultry and other agrelated industries
- Develop leadership organization communication and time management skills
- Participation in our strengthsbased servant leadership courses
- Complete projects and essential duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have a major in an agriculture or businessrelated field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
- Possess strong communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills are necessary for success in this position
- Involvement in campus or related extracurricular activities
- Ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decisionmaking skills as well as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of materials.
- Ability to accept supervision assignments change and correction.
- Proven effectiveness in dealing with a wide range of professionals staff and administrators.
- Possess strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit
Pay: $18/Hour
