Job Description
LiquidPiston seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team. This position will contribute to all aspects of the development process including concept design simulation prototyping and testing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 7years experience in electrical design and testing
- Analog / digital circuits
- PCB Layoutwith common tools such as EAGLE KiCAD etc
- Power electronics design/testing experience and modeling with applicable software tools (gate drive chips buck/boosttopologies AC output inverters 4 quadrant motor controls)
- System integration
- Labview sensors controls integration
- Microcontrollers
Additional Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Relevant experience in power generators power distribution and hybrid power systems
- Familiarity with CANBUS/MODBUS communication protocols
- Firmware development experience
- MATLAB/Simulink/Octave/Python
