This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Engineer with financial services/banking experience to design build and deliver the cloud data engineering solutions designed to support longterm business transformation efforts within the most customercentric bank in Africa.
This Senior Data Engineer role is Johannesburgbased with a CTC of R14 million per year.

THE ROLE
As Senior Data Engineer you will shape scalable data infrastructure and pipelines for big data and cloud platforms. Youll work with Azure PostgreSQL Kafka and Hadoop to build and optimize data lakes warehouses and streaming solutions. Collaborating with analysts scientists and engineers youll ensure seamless data integration.
Your work will drive data quality governance and API accessibility across the business. Expect to work with modern cloud and data technologies to deliver impactful solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
6 years experience as a Data Engineer
Extensive Azure or AWS experience
Big data experience (Spark Hadoop Kafka)
Python Java and SQL expertise
Data engineering certicications will be beneficial
