  • Bachelors Degree
  • 23 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
  • Experience with Healthcare and/or Healthcare IT a plus
Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting
  • Understanding of Employment Laws

  • Strong organizational time management and process management skills
  • Knowledge of and prior experience with a webbased applicant tracking system experience with PeopleSoft ATS a plus

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to effectively work with hiring managers applicants and candidates.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teambased project experience

General Overview:

As part of thePartners HealthCare Human Resources Team supporting various disciplinesincluding but not limited to Information Systems and Human Resources theStaffing Specialist will be responsible for hiringto ensure thesuccessful completion of Information Systems and Human Resources goals as wellas various staffing projects. The Staffing Specialist is responsible forthe full recruitment lifecycle.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies in a fastpaced multisite organization.
  • Manage and lead the staffing lifecycle: source screen select candidates check references and negotiate offers
  • Establish and maintain solid working relationships with hiring managersat all different levels from front line managers to senior leaders.
  • Partner with hiring managers to review job description to gain a solid understanding of not only the hard skills and educational requirements but also to determine the qualities and attributes of a successful candidate for the specific team and/or department
  • Leverage online recruiting resources and inhouse Applicant Tracking System to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Manage the interview process
  • Assist managers with hiring decisions and negotiations
  • Ensure internal and market equity
  • Monitor market for subject matter area and update managers on changing market conditions.
  • Participate in various recruitmentrelated events workforce development initiatives and HR sponsored events as needed
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks
  • Other duties as assigned
