Current Massachusetts Licensure as an APRN and Masters Degree in Nursing required.
A minimum of two years RN experience required.
General Medical nursing experience preferred however other inpatient RN experience will be considered.NP experience preferred; new NPs with previous inpatient experience on a medical service will be considered.

This innovative opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to partner with Hospitalists on inpatient care focuses on facilitating patient throughput. This partnership aims to reduce length of stay and contribute to efforts to increase efficiency in care delivery and discharge planning. This role includes direct care provision to a select group of medical inpatients and comanaging patients with Private Physicians.
The NP will follow a total of 8 patients on average with an average of 1 admission per day.The NP promotes a collaborative relationship and effort between the Hospitalists Private Physicians and Nurses toward resource management. The NP serves as a role model for professional nursing practice and efficient patient care.Applicants for this position should be patientcentered and energetic providers that are open to being part of an engaged and evolving team of Nurse Practitioners and Hospitalists.
Must be a selfstarter and have the ability to help lead a care team in collaboration with MD colleagues and NP peers. Someone who is skilled at initiating and maintaining collaborative relationships with peers staff administration and interdisciplinary care team members to enhance delivery of patient care is a must.
