High school degree required. Continued education preferred. Min 2 year previous admin/clerical experience with increased responsibility. Previous scheduling and medical office exp preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates assigns tracks and reports staffing for NursingDepartment.
Makes changes to schedule based on information received from Directorof Nursing or Unit Nurse Managers.
Works to find coverage for sick calls.
Coordinates schedule for per diem staff. Utilizes per diem pool efficiently.
Records and distributes daily coverage schedules.
Collects vacation requests by scheduled due date and follows nursing
scheduling policy.
Evaluates assigns and communicates staffing information to appropriate
Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor.
Monitors overtime usage.
Tracks all unplanned absences and communicates absences/tardiness
to Nurse Manager.
Assists with tracking day sheets and adjusts time as needed. Also works with
Payroll to ensure employees are entered and paid appropriately.
Monitors punchins and punchouts for tardiness or earliness. Sends reminder
to staff when needed.
Submits weekly hours for Exempt Employees to payroll.
Provides backup to other clerical staff as needed.
Maintains policy books manuals timesheets forms etc as required.
Orders and maintains supplies.
Other clerical/admin duties as assigned.
