Job Description: Triage Engineer
Client:Comcast
Location:Philadelphia PA
Key Responsibilities:
Perform triage and troubleshooting for issues related toLinuxbased embedded systemsandcable settop boxes.
Analyze and debug systemlevel problems involvingnetworking protocols (TCP/IP WiFi TR069 SNMP DOCSIS).
Develop and maintainautomation scripts (Shell Python)to improve diagnostic efficiency.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and enhance system performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degreein Computer Science Electronics or a related field.
6 yearsof handson development experience withLinux and embedded systems.
Strongscripting skills(Shell Python) for automation and debugging.
Expertise innetworking protocols(TCP/IP WiFi TR069 SNMP DOCSIS).
Proficiency in programming languages such asC C or Java.
Experience withcable settop box technologiesis highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity withcloudbased diagnostics toolsandremote device management.
Knowledge ofvideo streaming technologiesandIoT device ecosystems.
Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
