EurasiaGroup is looking for a videographer with extensive onthejob experiencehandling and operating professional quality film and audio equipment. You willprimarily material for a weekly digital show including prerecordedelements and live video. The shows are primarily interviewbased hosted by ouranalysts and focused on global politics. You will manage our inoffice studioand also do video shoots in the field. Your technical expertise and standard ofquality are critical but ideally you are also excited to engage with ourproducers to shape the visual aesthetic of our shows. The videographer will bean integral part of a new media venture run out of the Office of the Presidentwhich is the team that supports the firms founder Ian Bremmer in our New YorkHeadquarters.
Responsibilities:
Work with our studioconstruction company to help build and operate an inoffice film studio in ourNew York location (in progress)
Manage all technicalaspects of instudio shoots including live and recorded video lightingaudio.
videos in thefield or instudio multiple times/week
Manage the technicalaspect of livestreaming video from our studio or in the field.
Postproduction for theshows and other video content would be a plus
Qualifications
Bachelors degree intelevision/video production or equivalent experience
3 years professionalexperience in creating shortform videos. Prior live production cameraoperation experience is a plus.
Experience shootingstudioquality cameras
Flexible and creativeabout finding technology solutions to challenges in studio or in the field
Experience with lightingand basic audio recording
Experience withLivestream or other livestreaming software/live environments
Experience as aSteadicam/ Jib operator a plus
