Job Description

Attends both internal and external meetings related to community health and partnerships as assigned by the Director.
Works to improve the health and safety needs of the elderly through a variety of programs and initiatives including falls prevention walking programs medication safety and influenza vaccine clinics.
Plans and implements cardiovascular disease education and screening programs.
Implements workforce development programs for youth in collaboration with the Boston Private Industry Council (ie job shadow Foundation Year summer jobs)
BS in communityhealth education or related field
CHES certified or eligible required (CertifiedHealth Education Specialist

Provides assistance to the Director of the community health and wellness department in areas such as (but not limited to) data tracking office duties mailings invoice submission etc.Attends both internal and external meetings related to community health and partnerships as assigned by the Director.
