Job Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow from September. This is a fulltime permanent position. The ideal Psychology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5. We require a dedicated Psychology Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Psychology Teacher lessons covering core psychological concepts.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Develop students understanding of psychological principles and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the psychology curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead psychologyrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Psychology.
- Proven experience teaching psychology at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of psychological theory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
