Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design implement maintain and support our new network infrastructure project. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing deploying and managing all aspects of our network systems and ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
- Install configure and support network equipment including routers switches SDWAN OOB Network and Wireless Network.
- Configure wireless routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security based on client network standard.
- Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network performance (availability utilization throughput and latency) and test for weaknesses.
- Perform network deployment maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hotfixes and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot network problems and outages schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create update and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
- Provide network performance statistics and reports.
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven handson network engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS Wireless SilverPeak etc..
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC HSRP BGP OSPF 802.11 QoS).
- Familiarity with access control models and network security.
- Experience with network diagnostic monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds Cacti).
- Strong knowledge of network hardware (Cisco Wired and Wireless devices SilverPeak OpenGear .
- CCNP or higher (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification is a must.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a teamoriented environment.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies (AWS Azure VMware)
