Bay area California compensation range: $18 23
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Details:
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Intern to join our accounting team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain handson experience in accounting and finance processes with opportunities to collaborate across various functions. Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential for success in this position.
- Assisting with data entry performing reconciliations and preparing reports.
- Providing support for team members during monthend close activities.
- Project mentorship with the Director of Corporate Controller.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education
- Attending fouryear college or university to attain an Accounting Finance or Business Administration Bachelors degree; or already awarded Bachelors degree from fouryear college or university.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of general accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational communication interpersonal and project leadership skills.
- Team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.
- Selfstarter with an analytical mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
Language Skills
- Ability to read analyze and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
