Job Description
The Department of History Sociology Geography and GIS at Tarleton State University seeks to hire an adjunct in GIS. We are looking for masters and doctoralqualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in GIS. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or MA in hand in the field of Geography/GIS or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Geography/GIS.
Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level
Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a Masters degree in the discipline or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
Preferred Education/Experience: Prior experience teaching GIS at the collegiate level is desired.
