Summary
Our client is hiring a product manager in the Cloud and Applications product management team with responsibilities for the cloudenabled Enterprise Management Solution. The position will own the overall customer experience of the management solution as well as the business requirements. The position will include responsibilities for collecting documenting and prioritizing requirements with business justification and usecases drive requirements into engineering and define the product roadmap to deliver innovative market solutions. The ideal candidate must possess a good mix of technical savvy and business skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop the business case for new products and features and propose them to senior management
Define and deliver market and product requirements with business justification and usecases
Work with engineering to meet requirements and when needed trade off products features cost and timing
Support sales teams and SEs in strategic customer opportunities.
Drive product strategy roadmap definition and requirements for our clients management solution
Optimize the customer experience for all the target use cases as well as target user profiles.
Drive the tradeoffs required to achieve the optimal mix of functionality ease of use and time to market.
Create and drive the business case for new features and applications
Create product positioning and pricing.
Assist with launch planning messaging and deliverables.
Become a subject matter expert in the owned features and products.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of industry experience with at least 2 years in product management
Product management experience at a networking enterprise software or management vendor is a must
A thorough understanding of the enterprise IT market and buyer as well as network administrator
Strong technical product and marketing skills.
Thorough understanding of usability and how to work with both designers and developers to deliver stateoftheart easy to use management GUIs
Understanding of web application infrastructure (database presentation layer authentication entitlement etc.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking including wireless a plus
Experience delivering software and services from the web is a plus
MBA a plus.
Mandarin skills will be a plus.
