Job Description:
Were seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to lead budgeting forecasting and financial analysis efforts. This role partners departments to develop operating and capital budgets analyze financial performance and deliver insights to guide strategic decisionmaking. Ideal candidates are analytical detailoriented and excel in public finance environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead budget planning monitoring and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with departments to review funding requests and ensure resource alignment.
- Assess fiscal impacts of legislation and support published budget documents.
- Provide guidance to junior analysts and act as a financial resource across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in finance Accounting or related field (Masters preferred).
- 35 years of experience in financial planning forecasting and budget management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office tools.
