Job Description

Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Director to lead our organization in providing exceptional care and support to our residential employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing youth residential facilities.Brandons Mission Statement:Provide a safe supportive and caring environment where all boys young men and their families can learn rebuild and thrive at Brandon and beyond.Scope of the Position:Because of the life experiences and trauma histories that our youth present with employees must not only provide adequate safety and supervision but must be actively engaged in the process of building relationships understanding and solving problems as part of a team and must offer energy safety and commitment in their work with our youth through genuine caring and empathetic engagement. The residential programs work closely with clinical teams and support family treatment and involvement by providing facilitation supervision and support for visits and family connections with parents relatives and other significant people in the lives of our youth.JOB STATEMENT:Responsible for the overall quality assurance and operations of multiple residential programs. Ensure the highest quality of care to Brandon youth and families by creating an environment which is safe respectful and positive.ACCOUNTABLE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING RESULTS:Ensure exceptional residential services in the 7 programs by spending consistent time in each milieu TEACHINGTRAINING GUIDING and SUPPORTING the team as they implement CARE and TCI in the milieu.Implement and maintain systems in which the program routine and structure is outlined week to week; then visit the programs to ensure the proposed schedule is being implemented as much as possible working to support managers in problem solving skills.Constructively challenge teams to think outside the box when implementing activities for their youth and families staying true to CARE that every activity (even doing laundry) has a purpose. Help the teams find purpose make even the most mundane activity have meaning and be fun and ensure staff are involved in the process. TEACH the staff to be role models and be engaged.Provide weekly supervision for Residential Directors Program Managers and Support Managers offering opportunity for reflective practice and evaluation of program operations.Conduct investigations work with both DCF and DEEC (licensing investigations etc. Managing program managers support managers and direct care staff in the residential settings leadership experience working with interdisciplinary teams is preferred as well as an understanding and true passion for residential trauma informed care.Provide oversight of staff schedule matters.Provide oversight of youth crisis situations and ensure appropriate crisis interventions are implemented.Ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of food and supply orders National School Lunch compliance paperwork petty cash submissions attendance and other PQI reporting as well as and program budget expense reports.Comply at all times with federal state and local regulations and licensing requirements.Provide a safe nurturing caring atmosphere for youth who reside in the residence.Attend and actively participate in staff meetings treatment team consults managers meeting and required trainings as scheduled.Demonstrates an understanding of the actual developmental levels of youth in the residence and intervenes to promote development and adjusts expectations according to development levelDemonstrates an understanding of the importance of family/kinship connections to youth in our residence and supports those connections by welcoming parents relatives and caregivers on visits and facilitating planned contacts with families in the program the community and the family/relative home.RequirementsBachelors degree (Masters preferred) in related fieldMinimum 10 years experience in the human services/ mental health fieldMinimum 5 years of senior level experienceScheduleMondayFriday; shift time varies based on residential hoursThis position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of youth while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence in care.Benefits$1000 Signon Bonus$1000 Referral BonusUp to $1000 MAP Certification BonusHealth Dental and Vision Insurance403B Retirement Plan options with company matchFitness ReimbursementUndergraduate Tuition RemissionGraduate Tuition Reimbursement11 Paid Holidays19 Days PTOEmployer Paid Life Insurance & LTDFlexible ScheduleHealth Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care FSAPaid Orientation & TrainingsParental LeaveMileage ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramFree breakfast lunch and parking for all employees!Job Type: FulltimePay: From $100000.00 per yearBenefits:403(b)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to Commute:Natick MA 01760 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Natick MA 01760: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
