The Project

McConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors along with Design partners Mott McDonald Arup and Aurecon have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance comprising of works at three main locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The purpose of the Tram Grade Separation Project is to improve the safety and efficiency of the major north south corridors to the west of the city by removing and improving the Glenelg Tram Road crossings.

These projects will be delivered by the Tram Grade Separation Projects Alliance (TGSPA) together with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport.

YourOpportunity

In this Planner role you will be responsible for planning activities including scheduling and updating in Primavera P6 reporting providing solutions and interfacing across the project. We are interested in your previous high level planning experience on a major construction projects expertise in P6 adaptability and solutions orientated approach.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Construction Management or similar
  • Relevant construction planning/scheduling experience on largescale resources projects
  • Previous experience using Primavera P6
  • Ability to advise on mitigating measures for project delays and providing schedule delay impact analysis and forecasting
  • Ability to provide reports and updates
  • Ability to liaise with senior management team
  • Proven experience in maintaining productive relationships with a project team client representatives and subcontractors
  • A commitment to safety and health above all else
