Job Description
The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union 31 is seeking a districtwide float nurse for the remainder of theschool year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Massachusetts.
- Experience as a school or public health nurse is preferred.
REPORTS TO:Nurse Leader & Building Principals
JOB GOAL:To meet students health needs in the absence of the building school nurse
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITY:
- Administers student health assessment medication and treatments in accordance with established first aid protocol and procedure
- Administers first aid and emergency aid in accordance with established first aid protocol and procedures
- Assumes all other duties involving health related issues as deemed necessary by the building level administrator and Nurse Leader
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School year 5 days a week
EVALUATION: Job performancewill be evaluated annuallyby the Nurse Leader
