Job Description

Dynamic afterschool enrichment learning center seeking experienced Math Instructor/Academic Coachto work withstudents from grades 5thto 8th grade. Our culture promotes a nurturing environment where you can thrive our teachers have been with us for many years! We are looking for someone who is going to be a longterm team member and is seeking to grow and reach personal fulfillment.

All teaching materials are provided. The instructor will work with students on an individual or small group setting. Must be flexible with changes in setting and time.

Salary:Competitive salary based on merit!

Employee Type: This is a parttime yearround position.

Math Instructor and Academic Coach Requirements:

College Graduate with BSin math or related fields
College student or above with at least 20 credits with Math knowledge up to PreCalc
Excellent communication skills with adults and children
Great organizational and multitasking skills are a must
Patience enthusiasm willingness to work with children
Retired teachers are welcomed

Math Instructor and Academic Coach General Responsibilities:

Provide appropriate academic coaching to students according to the Center policy.
Motivate and encourage students (incentives certificates etc.
Discuss with the Director of students progress after every session or end of business day
Maygradebooklets in the beginning to become familiar with the program
