Job Description

Instructor and Content Writer in Software Development

Augusta Georgia (Fort Eisenhower)
Active Secret Clearance is Required

@Orchard LLC has been engaged to support a growing Federal Contractor satisfying an immediate requirement for an Instructor and Content Writer skilled in Software Development with a thorough understanding of Python. This individual will develop technical content and instruction materials and become an integral part of the existing client team. The role will support efforts for the development testing and instruction of applications within Java and Python environments. This role will also support designing developing and implementing material for emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop written training material assist with training material validation implement training material as certified classroom instruction and maintain training material to support Signal School courses.
  • Produce associated media (e.g. presentations videos and other training support material).
  • Provide Instructor notes/preparation. (e.g. Instructor notes for training support material).
  • Make recommendations and adjustments to enhance the quality and relevancy of learning products and material.
  • Develop assessments (labs quizzes and tests) to evaluate students ability to understand training material and perform associated tasks IAW intended learning outcome.
Your experience will include the ability to:
  • Design code and test applications using scripts with a specific depth of current experience using Python.
  • Develop Application Programmable Interfaces (APIs) to enable advanced network security operations employ network communication and develop hybrid network solutions.
  • Demonstrate the basic programming techniques used to create scripts for automating system administrative tasks.
  • Construct web sing scripts to programmatically obtain data and content from web pages.
  • Design and implement iterators and generators.
  • Design and develop advanced data structures: collections arrays queues sets and dictionaries.
  • Create applications using techniques such as multiplexing forking and multithreading.
  • Employ Python Perl and JAVA to automate network operations.
  • Employ Software Defined Networks to enhance communications.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess an M.S. Degree in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) from a formal higher education institution; a B.S. degree in STEM will be accepted with additional years of experience and certifications.
  • Must possess a Common Faculty DeveloperInstructor Course (CFDIC) certification that is less than 5 years old or be willing to obtain within 90 days of hire as a requirement for continued employment.
  • Must possess 3 years operational experience developing software/applications if holding M.S. Must possess 5 years operational experience developing software/applications if holding B.S.
