General Information:
Quality Technicians act to improve safety operating efficiency quality and productivity in the value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform tests or experiments requiring selection and adaptation or modification of equipment and products and record data.
- Conduct analyses to check reasonableness prepare and present test reports and maintain records.
- Participate in the investigation of technical problems and test failures.
- Reports in an accurate and timely manner on Quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the analysis and management of local processes.
- Conducts process audits to ensure the conformance of working practices with established processes and procedures.
- Defining and specifying activities processes and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material component or product. Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
- Participate in supporting Operations and Engineering to identify the root cause and be an active participate in identifying the solution and helping the team implement and ensure that it followed rigorously.

Qualifications:
- Associates degree required. Preferred electrical focus.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality is required.
Skills Needed:
- Be able to use gages such as calipers micrometers tape measure plug gages ring gages etc.
- Be able to read a drawing/specifications
- Selfstarter with a willingness to learn and attention to detail.
- Good understanding and demonstratable use of inspection equipment utilized in steel fabrication and/or electrical assemblies.
- Experienced in data collection and analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office
