Job Description
South Umpqua School Districtis seeking a reliable and detailoriented Food Transporter to support ourdistrictfood service.
Job Duties:
Assist with food preparation and cleanup tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support the efficient operation of the school meal program by transporting food and supplies to satellite kitchens.
Serve meals to students in a way that promotes efficiency cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain clean organized and sanitary kitchen environments in compliance with health and safety standards.
Perform deep cleaning of district kitchens during school breaks and scheduled nonstudent days.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma GED or educational and related work experience that the district considers appropriate for performing the assigned task. Two years prior experience in and knowledge of cleaning methods materials and equipment used in school housecleaning. Must have valid ODL. Selfmotivated and able to work with little supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) and follow written and oral directions.Ability to work harmoniously with staff and students is a necessity.
Good physical health and ability to perform manual labor. Physically able to perform essential job functions which include lifting 50 pounds pushing pulling and carrying on a regular basis.
Salary Range:$15.96 $22.97 Depending on experience)
Assignment:8 hours per day / 5 days per week/ 10 months a year
