partner staffing onbehalf of our Client we are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Mechanical RevitDesigner to contribute to the design and drafting of mechanical systems forcommercial buildings. Developing designs including HVAC plumbing and Fire. Thisrole requires proficiency in Revit a keen eye for detail and a passion fordeveloping highquality functional designs that align with project goals.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams todevelop mechanical designs including HVAC plumbing and fire protectionsystems for commercial and mixeduse buildings.
- Create and modify detailed 3D Revit models and 2Ddrawings based on engineering designs and project specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes standardsand best practices.
- Coordinate designs with architectural structural andelectrical disciplines to identify and resolve potential clashes or conflicts.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in preparingschedules and material specifications.
- Support project documentation including maintainingdrawing records and adhering to project delivery timelines.
- Participate in design reviews team meetings and sitevisits as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology DraftingTechnology or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in mechanical design focusingon commercial building systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential; experiencewith AutoCAD is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing and fireprotection systems in commercial applications
- Familiarity with Canadian building codes andstandards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with aproactive approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritizedeadlines effectively.
PreferredSkills:
- Experience with energy modeling software orsustainabilityfocused projects is an asset.
- Familiarity with mechanical system design in mixeduseor highrise buildings.
- LEED certification or commitment to sustainable designprinciples is a plus.
