We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing products ensuring customer satisfaction and driving operational excellence. This leader will also work closely with Data Engineers to build and operationalize the AI/ML pipeline that powers SpyClouds cuttingedge products.
Youll be leading a team of engineers with a range of experience fostering their growth while ensuring the stability and scalability of our software systems. We value collaboration transparency and a culture of continuous improvementand most importantly we believe in keeping work fun!

What Youll Do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers by providing coaching and career development opportunities.
- Own the teams roadmap balancing product needs with technical debt and system stability.
- Remove roadblocks and proactively identify potential issues that could impact team productivity.
- Promote software development best practices design principles and operational excellence.
- Actively participate in technical discussions and be ready to step in to assist when necessary.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration open communication and continuous learning.
- Align your teams work with business goals ensuring effective contributions to company success.
- Work crossfunctionally with DevOps Customer Support and Product Management to ensure seamless project .
- Provide handson leadership offering technical guidance and participating in architectural decisionmaking.
- Recruit hire and onboard new team members ensuring the right skill sets and resources for success.
Requirements
- 8 years of software development experience with at least 5 years in an Agile environment.
- 35 years of experience leading engineering teams 4 individuals).
- Experience delivering and operating largescale highly available distributed systems in AWS.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to evaluate design tradeoffs and make sound architectural decisions.
- Handson leadership approachyoure not afraid to get into the code when needed.
- Experience working crossfunctionally with Product Management DevOps and Customer Support teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
- Prior experience as a software engineer is required.
