Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned M&S Operations Advisor to join our dynamic organization in a senior role focused on driving business excellence through strategic leadership and continuous process improvement. This position holds the highest level of complexity with responsibilities spanning technical and nontechnical domains and includes oversight of strategic programs budget and schedule management and longterm growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of leadership across business operations financial management contracts program and team development. A deep understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) operations is essential as the role includes overseeing performance and operational functions across multiple locations.
This is a highimpact highly visible position with primary responsibility for managing a multimilliondollar contract and leading a team committed to evolving and optimizing critical processes. The individual may also carry P&L responsibility and play a key role in business development within the current customer base as well as new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the of complex programs including fixedprice contracts and highlevel technical initiatives.
- Support senior leadership in shaping longterm growth with potential to take on broader management responsibilities as the organization expands.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of operational and performance excellence.
- Drive business development and capture strategies to expand the companys footprint in COCOM operations and adjacent markets.
- Manage contract ensuring deliverables are met schedules maintained and performance measures are achieved.
- Oversee all aspects of business and financial operations including contract management budget forecasting financial reporting risk assessment and planning for training and exercises.
- Ensure alignment between program expenditures and organizational goals while proactively identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.
- Coordinate across teams and locations to ensure timely and effective delivery of missioncritical support services.
- Contribute to marketing efforts for new technology or followon business acquisition.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with an advanced degree in engineering or business preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years program related experience in related areas with at least 10 years functional or program management experience.
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI is required to start.
- Proven experience in leadership and management roles with a focus on business operations financial management contracts and program .
- Expertise in the Modeling and Simulation engineering lifecycle including system design integration testing and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multimillion dollar contracts and deliver highquality results.
- Experience in leading diverse crossfunctional teams and driving results across multiple locations.
- Strong background in developing and implementing process improvements and software solutions to streamline operations.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills with a history of working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging with highlevel defense officials and prospective clients.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and guide lessexperienced staff and potential for supervisory roles.
