Correctional Officer Mountain View Correctional Facility

Pay Grade: 16 $24.97 $30.09 hourly
This rate includes $1/hr. institutional stipend
This rate does not include applicable night weekend shift differentials or Premium Overtime.
Starting Pay:$24.97/hr.
Base Premium Overtime Rate: $37.46/hr.
- Shift Differentials: $0.45/hr. 2nd $0.55/hr. 3rd Shift.
Weekend Differential: 0.60/hr. straight time. $0.90/hr. for Premium Overtime.

Minimum Requirements to Apply:
- At least 18YearsOld.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent (HiSET GED etc..
- Valid drivers license to apply Maine drivers license upon hire.
- No serious criminal or extensive motor vehicle records.See Automatic Disqualifiers
Paid Training Education and State Certification 100 funded by MDOC:
No prior experience necessary training provided to ensure your career success.
- SixWeek paid Basic Corrections Training Program (BCTP) w/State Certification.
- Nonresidential BCTP held at MCC in Windham. If needed lodging available & funded by MDOC.
- How to Become a Correctional Officer.
