M&J is seeking Senior Engineers in the Washington Metropolitan Area with 5 15 plus years experience. The Senior Engineers will work on various aspects of the construction and ensure compliance with the contract provisions.

Responsibilities
Prepares project plans and designs and manages budgets and resources. Oversees the design of projects.
Oversees all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
Designs and recommends improvements to computeraided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.
Performs cost estimations and prepares project budgets.
Prepares work schedules and allocates resources.
Documents ongoing processes and presents project progress updates for senior managers and clients.
Presents design and research to the team.
Reviews and checks plans specifications contracts engineers notes engineering and cost estimates for projects.
Conducts studies and investigations related to projects.
Develops and oversees the development of construction drawings and work plans.
Advises staff with process recommendations.
Devises and implements strategies that would improve the quality of workflow and deliver significant results.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Masters Degree in Civil Structural Traffic Engineering (or similar);
- Registered PE
- 515 plus years related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
