As an Asset Maintenance Technician Apprentice within our clean water business youll be at the heart of this purposeensuring the reliable delivery of 1100 million litres of clean drinking water every day. What Will You Do
As a Water Asset Maintenance Technician Apprentice youll:
- Maintain and repair equipment at water treatment facilities ensuring safe and reliable drinking water for millions.
- Learn about the full water treatment process from chemicals and disinfectants to advanced engineering systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Support our mission to handle water with care innovating in ways that dont cost the earth.
- This 4year programme offers a blend of mechanical and electrical engineering training through classroom study and handson experience.
- Youll be involved in carrying out routine maintenance diagnosing complex faults on our water sites and work towards becoming a fully qualified multiskilled technician.
What Are We Looking For
- A passion for problemsolving and sustainability.
- GCSEs (Grade AC or 94 in Math English and Science) or Level 2 Functional Skills. (please note that predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams)
- A willingness to work outdoors and take on challenges
- A growth mindset and a drive to explore learn and contribute to a greater purpose.
