The Senior Digital/Social Media Director is responsible for driving the social media communications strategy for a large U.S. brand. This individual interfaces with partner agencies senior management and executive leadership to ensure strategic focus throughout planning and . The Senior Social Media Director works with their team to apply industry best practices to plan and optimize the social media marketing mix around clients goals.
Our social strategy team tracks trends in technology and consumer behavior to find opportunities and cultivates the social media presence for our clients. They concept create present communication strategies and integrated marketing campaigns that support the brands overall goals and are always on the lookout for new ways to connect with consumers. What you will do
Strategic Development:Design and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies ensuring alignment with client objectives and market trends.
Integrated Campaigns:Collaborate with creative teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that leverage SEO SEM social media email marketing and content marketing to achieve client goals.
Performance Tracking:Utilize analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics social media insights) to monitor campaign performance analyze data and provide regular reports with actionable insights for continuous optimization.
Social Media Strategy:Develop and manage social media strategies that foster engagement and enhance brand loyalty ensuring content is tailored to each platforms audience.
Client Collaboration:Serve as the primary digital marketing contact for clients presenting strategies and campaign performance insights while fostering strong relationships and trust.
Trend Monitoring:Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies bringing innovative ideas and best practices to client strategies.
Spearhead innovative social media initiatives
Manage and develop relationships with other social agencies as part of integrated agency team model process and other internal departments such as strategy and creative in the development of leadership communications strategy & social programs to support ownership areas
Identify opportunities for organic growth with clients
Manage and develop team members
What we are looking for
Minimum 8 years of Digital/Social and Integrated Marketing including multicultural communications
Government or nonprofit experience preferred but not required
QSR experience preferred but not required
Experience leading hardworking social teams to deliver results against goals
Deep experience in reputation management social listening and reporting
Deep experience in organic social campaigns and programs to drive
engagement
Ability to forge strong alliances with internal partners to deeply understand their needs impact their perspectives to drive consensus and execute against the social strategy.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong leadership skills and a consistent record of leading mentoring and developing the careers of a hardworking team
