Job Description
Accurately and efficiently pick orders placing in totes boxes and crates
Insure secure application of pick ticket andstaging in designated route driver areas on trucks or pallets
Pull merchandise from warehouse stock boxes shelves cooler and freezers
Record selected products in accordance with standard procedures using LightSpeed software handcarts and tablets.
Rotate stock and inspect expiration dates on all products. Report to management on stock about to expire
Maintain cooler and freezers in a clean orderly manner and consolidates stock in order to create room for incoming product
Receive and verify all inbound deliveries and locate proper pick location. Map new products as necessary.
Perform end of shift tasks such as; trash and cardboard removal sweeping cleaning disinfecting recharging tablets and organizing for the next day
Participate in all physical inventories
Ensure warehouse restrooms and outside areas are clean organized secure and safe always. Return tools hand trucks pallet jacks and supplies to assigned location.
Ridealong with Drivers making customer stops filling vending machines and micromarkets(noncash handling role)
Perform any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the General Manager or Supervisor
Requirements:
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and handle high volume workload
Regular attendance and punctuality. Reliable transportation.
Adhere to strict safety quality and production standards
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work reliably from verbal and written instructions
Dress Code is casual. No tank tops. Must have closed toed shoes
Physical Demands:
Consistently stand and/or walk during shift
Lift carry and move up to 25 pounds
Lift bend reach above the head kneel crouch and/or stretch
Load and pull or push hand trucks and pallet jacks
Warehouse environment.Exposure to extreme temperatures forklifts and dusty conditions
