The clinical teams at the areas clinics are improving outcomes lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. • Established outpatient practice located at UPH Prairie Parkway medical Campus Cedar Falls IA
• Join team of 8 Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers
• Fulltime position including dedicated administrative time with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• 36 direct patient care hours 4 hours of administrative time
• Prairie Parkway provides patientcentered and comprehensive care in one 90000 square foot building.
• Patients have access to therapy lab pharmacy and Xray onsite
• Primary and specialty providers at the medical campus work collaboratively and include (Rheumatology Pediatrics OBGYN IM and Diabetes and Endocrinology)
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff both clinical and nonclinical who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• Same day accesss to assist with patient volume
• Clinic hours vary from 7AM5PM and extended hours on Monday and Wednesday 7AM 7PM
• Opportunity for general family medicine procedures in the clinic include skin excisions vasectomy lacerations Nexplanon joint injections and toenail removal ect.
• Average 1820 patients per day
• 3 exam rooms per provider and 1 procedure room in each pod
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Ability to participate in Newborn call 1:5 includes evaluations of newborns circumcisions and discharges
• Shared clinic call amongst the providers. Call is light and first triaged through MyNurse line
• General family medicine procedures such as joint injections skin excisions lacerations casting joint injections etc.Evaluates interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patientfocused friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problemsolving skills

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Family Medicine experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
