This is a fully onsite position and a requirement is living local to the Mount Hermon Felton CA area.
Position Objective
In collaboration with the Director of Family Ministries the Director of Womens Conferences gives oversight and leadership to MHA womens conferences in a manner consistent with MHAs mission vision and values.
General Qualifications
A mature follower of Jesus still growing and developing in their faith. Fully in accord with Mount Hermon Association Inc.s (MHA) mission vision values and statement of beliefs. Committed to living these out personally and instilling them in the organization. Of strong moral character and integrity.
Key Job Accountabilities
Provide leadership to MHAs womens retreats.
Serve as the lead programmer for at least three annual womens retreats: two larger womens retreats and at least one smaller reflective retreat. You will plan the theme and secure all faculty needed for each event in order that the vision and mission of each retreat will be accomplished.
Work closely with the Family Ministries Coordinator to plan and organize details for retreats.
Work with the Family Ministries Director to help program Mount Hermons Marriage Retreat(s) annually.
Network with local churches and ministry leaders to serve and collaborate with and serve the local church
Promote the womens conferences to churches and leaders through various means including phone calls meetings and other avenues to continue to grow the ministry of MHA.
Collaborate with other MHA departments to create the best experience for our guest and serve our vision and mission.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education
Minimum College degree
Work Experience
Past womens ministries leadership is required.
Conference and event planning is required.
History of working with or in a local church is desired
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Proven organizational skills and ability to lead others
Strong verbal communication skills.
Must be a selfstarter with an ability to see things through to completion.
Ability to troubleshoot and problemsolve in a professional manner.
Physical Demands
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold wet/humid and dry/arid conditions.
Position requires walking and climbing up/down stairs and ladders. Additional requirements include sitting standing squatting stooping twisting pushing and pulling hearing and grasping.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. is required.
Additional Requirements/Skills
Ability to travel throughout the year.
Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in MHAs Mission Vision Values and Commitment statements.
Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
Satisfactory completion of background investigation as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
