Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

In this position the incumbent is responsible to manage Equipment and Gas Sales GMs in line with Annual Sales Budget and OI targets. Manage the TESCOM brand and relationship to ensure we meet their targets and manage our stock holding and coordinate the entire Tescom supply chain and ensure 100 Equipment and Installations (E & I) customer satisfaction.
  • Develop new business: new customers new markets new applications new geographiesidentify new opportunities

  • Grow and develop existing business/repeat sales by supporting regional sales team contractors and existing customer base

  • Train support and develop Speciality Gas internal sales consultant and regional sales team

  • Manage pricing policy within ALPTY guidelines

  • Compile market intelligence

  • Complete tenders

  • Prepare and present Sales Reports & Presentations if required

  • Involve in annual sales targets

  • Assist Debtors with account management to ensure DSO targets are met

  • Ensure all AL policies and procedures are implemented

  • Key account identification within SA and strategy

  • Key account daily monitoring and networking for Airliquide value

  • Speciality Gas E & I Sales growth

  • New E&I Business Development & identify new opportunities

  • Manage %GM

  • Manage Tescom account relationship & stock levels

Are you a MATCH

Educational requirements

  • Education: Engineering/Sales and Marketing Degree

  • Valid drivers license

Experience

  • 3 5yrs Gas Products & Equipment sales experience as the skills required is very specific to Special Gases and their application

  • Experience in specialty gases and equipment will be advantageous

  • Proven strong track record of sales excellence exceeding targets is essential

  • Strong technical aptitude

  • Prepared to travel extensively in SA

  • Large customer interaction

  • Computer Literate

Knowledge and Knowhow specific to the job

  • Strong technical/Sales aptitude understand gas applications ie gas type pipeline material gas pressure flow rate etc

  • Strong gas product knowledge properties and valve types

  • Interpret engineering drawings and P& ID

  • Experienced in commercial policies and operations

  • Gas Safety and Awareness

  • Market assessments

  • Key account assessment
