Summary
Under thesupervision of the Practice Manager the Patient Access Representative isresponsible for obtaining accurate patient demographics and insuranceinformation during the patient interview process; the process includesinperson and phone interviews corrects information as needed. Processes theregistration including obtaining the patients signature on the Authorizationfor Treatment Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) and completing the MedicareSecondary Payer (MSP) questionnaire. Scans all necessary documentation into SRS.Collects copayments estimated coinsurance and deductibles which includesphone calls to patients to discuss financial responsibility prior to service aswell as collecting at time of service. Answers incoming phone calls and assistcaller as needed. And any other duties assigned by the Practice Manager.
