Home Support Workers in Newcastle Casual Work
Job Location: Caves Beach Belmont Charlestown and nearby suburbs
Job responsibilities:
**To support the elderly and clients with disabilities at home.
- Personal care showering dressing up toileting transfer assistance etc.
- Domestic assistance assistance with cleaning and other housework.
- Meal preparation cooking and preparing meals for the client.
- Transport service/ social support driving to appointments outings shopping and other recreational activities.
Basic job requirements (for domestic assistance):
- First Aid (HLTAID003 HLTAID011 HLTAID004 HLTAID012
- NDIS Worker Screening IDorAU National Police Check
- COVID19 fully vaccinated with booster
- Available most days and can start ASAP
- Willing to work on a casual basis and to travel in the surrounding suburbs
For personal care service you must have all the above requirements and:
- Cert III/IV in Aged Care Disability Individual Support or Nursing
For transport services you must have all the basic requirements and:
- Comprehensive car insurance with your name as an insured driver
- Full drivers licence
- Car Registration
Additional qualifications (preferably with but not required):
- Manual Handling
- Working with Children Check
- Dementia Certificate
